Holistic Development

Making Spiritual Empowerment among Children

Holistic development allows children to reach their fullest potential by tuning the inherent qualities they possess.

Human beings are way more than just body and mind. A child, driven by unique abilities plays a vital role in shaping society and affects the community to a greater extent. Beyond the mental conditioning of their own selves, children are way more than the sum total of their limited thoughts and beliefs. While children may possess some profound scholastic abilities, they also have the Self that is connected to the world. This connection gives a child a true identity, meaning, and purpose in this world. This connection is the root of the feelings of compassion and service.

Holistic Development is a process that strengthens this connection and the child finds the true purpose in life. Modern education is equipped well with the tools to provide academic excellence that are limited to meeting a few ends. Holistic education on the other hand prepares an individual for life.

IQF club of service

The IQF Club of Service aims to train young minds to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual fitness for their holistic growth so that they emerge as resilient, empowered, and responsible citizens of the nation.

The twin-objective of the IQF Club is to help students develop their inward awareness and from that space, impact external life and society. Apart from the core practices of Sama Vedic Dhyana (Meditation) and Jeevana Tattva Sadhana (a Yogasana regime), members of IQF clubs are exposed to off-campus visits to agriculture farms, technology centres, orphanages and other holistic activities.

Following close on the heels of the Annual Event are the Residential Camps of IQF. Organised with the objective of enabling IQF Club members to become a part of a Gurukul system and also to share the common fund of knowledge about Holistic Personality Development, the residential camps are the occasions to provide the members with an opportunity to re-invent themselves through volunteering and service

To create a deeper impact of our sustained interventions, the IQF Clubs of Service were introduced with the aim to train young minds to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual fitness.

IQF Club Ambassadors’ Stories

“Five years ago, when I started my journey with the IQF club, I was living in a state of oblivion. I was terrified of it. Now, it doesn't scare me as much as it did me then. For, over the years I learnt that oblivion is probably inevitable but existence is absolute. Every being that walked this planet has left its mark on it. Realising, and to an extent overcoming this fear of mine has turned me to a better person.”

Diya Biswas, IQF Ambassador

“As an IQF ambassador, I think IQF has given me more than awareness--also a great network of people whom I can connect with and take the IQF community forward. As an IQF Ambassador, I want to serve the nation through small causes with the help of the Club by supporting the poor. My long-term goal is to build growth centres where people come and attend sessions and learn to be self-reliant.”

Ojasv Kapoor, IQF Ambassador

“As an IQF Ambassador, I would first like to share my experiences about the IQF club with others and encourage them to join it or at least try to work on the ideals of the club, which are rooted in the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. I would advise other students to be consistent with their spiritual practice and make yoga and meditation a part of their daily routine. It’s kind of crazy how a foolish fight ended in such a great series of events that changed my way of perceiving things.”

Pavini Sharma, IQF Ambassador

“My journey with IQF is something that I can never forget. When IQF Club was started in our school, it took me some time to go along the flow as we were exposed to several things we had never done before. It all seemed pretty intriguing compared to the other school classes. However, things changed soon, and my first year with the IQF Club was full of learning and excitement .”

Aaryan Verma, IQF Ambassador

“As an IQF ambassador, I would like to contribute to nation-building by sharing my experiences about the IQF Club with others and encouraging them to join the Club and work on its ideals, which are rooted in the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. To sum up, I would like to say that IQF is doing a great job of inspiring the young generation by giving them the wings of science and spirituality.”
